Process design of a Polyol installation

How important is correct process design of a new installation? The answer to this question is of course very important.

And especially if you can save on equipment and ultimately in manpower through correct process design.

For example, we have designed a process installation that makes it possible to use different types of polyol as basic raw materials in a production process.

The challenge lay in the very different physical properties (such as density and viscosity) of the type of polyol that the customer wishes to use.

Based on our process calculations, a safe installation was designed that makes it possible to pump different types of polyol that fall within a certain range with just 1 pump.

The results of our study include an installation plan for the installation, a detailed P&ID, an equipment, valve, line and instrument list with which the customer can enter into a competition for the construction of the relevant installation.

Are you also curious about how we can optimize your process and save on expensive parts such as pumps, valves and instrumentation?
